I currently work in the Greater New Orleans area for the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement where I oversee the management of pipelines in the Gulf of Mexico OCS region. I am the Chief of the Pipeline Section, supervise a staff of 15 and act as a DOI Diversity Change Agent in the GOMR. I work in BSEE's Program Office Regional Field Operations. My entire career has basically been with the Federal Government. I did work with Gulf Oil while in school.
I am active in the SPE Delta Section where I serve as the Chair. In the past, I have served as the Secretary and a Section Director in previous years. Additionally, I have been involved in the One Voice effort and the scholarship committee.
I am active in the Gulf of Mexico Deepwater Technical Symposium held annually in New Orleans. I chair two sessions, the Emerging Technology Session and the Pipelines/Subsea Infrastructure Session.
I enjoy reading, dancing, helping people, cooking, traveling, exercising, photographing events,people and places, and meeting people. I also enjoy my very challenging and demanding duties as Chief of the Pipeline Section. I am a native Louisianan and grew up in Patterson, attending Holy Cross Elementary and Central Catholic High School in Morgan City where annually the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival is held and also where the Mr. Charlie resides. I am the middle daughter of three siblings, all girls.
